Step 0 - Patch Test
A laser patch test is a small area treated with the laser and should be done at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
This quick procedure helps us identify any potential skin reactions to the laser treatment, ensuring your safety and comfort during the full session.

Step 1 - Prepare for Treatment
IMPORTANT: 24 hours before your appointment, please shave the area to be treated—this helps the laser target the hair follicle under the skin rather than the hair above it. (Speak to the therapist for more info regarding other stuff)

Step 2 - Applying Gel
During treatment, you'll wear protective eyewear while we work section by section across the area.
A cool, clear gel is evenly applied to the skin to help the laser glide smoothly and protect the skin's surface.

Step 3 - Laser Treatment
The laser emits concentrated light pulses that target the hair follicles, heating them to inhibit future growth.
You will feel a warm sensation pulsing on the affected area, its very quick and most clients find it comfortable and some fall asleep.
It does NOT feel painful at all but if you have any discomfort, please let us know and we can adjust the settings accordingly.

Step 4 - Clean & Finish
After the laser treatment, the gel is gently wiped away by the therapist, and a soothing lotion or aloe vera gel is applied to calm the skin.

Dark hair or light hair?
Laser hair removal works best on hair with pigment, as the laser targets colour in the hair follicle. Very light, red or grey hair may respond differently, which we’ll discuss honestly during your consultation and patch test.
Not painful (and designed for safety)
Most clients describe the sensation as brief warmth or a light “snap” rather than pain. The laser treats the follicle while protecting surrounding skin, and settings are adjusted for comfort throughout.
How does the laser reduce hair growth?
Laser weakens the hair follicle over time, reducing regrowth rather than stopping it instantly. Multiple sessions are needed to treat hairs at different growth stages, leading to visible reduction and finer regrowth.

Can I get laser if I’m pregnant?
We don’t perform laser treatments on pregnant clients. Your safety is our priority, and we’ll be happy to book your sessions once your pregnancy is over.

How soon will I see results?
